As the name suggests, the monotype is a very pictorial printing technique that allows you to make a unique copy. There are several ways to create a monotype: by inking a plexiglass plate with the roller, or by painting over the matrix with a brush before printing with the chalcographic press. The result of the print, which can be on paper or fabric, will be unique and surprising. We will have fun practicing and experimenting the potential of this technique, creating small but great masterpieces!
