Irene Lupia
The ramingo, who goes wandering from place to place, is someone who has an intimately uneasy soul and is moved by a sense of non-belonging.
Ramingo is dedicated to the incessant and tireless going and searching. Inside the artist’s book there are drawings and photographs taken in different places, periods and paths.
The handmade artist’s book contains drawings and photographs taken on film. Printed in January 2020 in 7 numbered and signed copies.
Ramingo also exists as a flagbook, in a second limited edition of 3 copies.

from the ancient provencal ramenc.
Of birds that, still unable to fly, dare to get out of the nest anyway, jumping from branch to branch.
Of him who wanders from place to place.
